Joaquin Niemann

As we have already mentioned, Joaquin Niemann has been an absolute beast in LIV Golf this season. In fact, he has been in red-hot form all across the globe recently. After capturing second place on the individual leaderboard in LIV Golf 2024, Niemann ventured into the International Series. He won the PIF Saudi International powered by SoftBank Investment Advisers in late 2024. The Chilean then visited Asia for the International Series India where he finished at T3 behind fellow LIV Golfers, Ollie Schniederjans and Bryson DeChambeau. Coming back to LIV Golf, the 26-year-old started slowly in Riyadh. But wins in LIV Golf Adelaide and Singapore ensured that he leads the individual board going into Miami. He is definitely the best bet for the East Coast event.

Dean Burmester

Dean Burmester has had a couple of top finishes in the 2025 season so far. He ended at T4 in Riyadh, 3 strokes off the top. Burmester continued his run in Adelaide with a T12 finish before ending as a solo runner-up in Hong Kong. The South African has certainly shown glimpses of excellence throughout this season. But what makes him one of the best bets for LIV Golf Miami 2025 is that he is coming in as the defending champion. Yes, Dean Burmester won the tournament in 2024, beating a determined Sergio Garcia to win the event.

Jon Rahm

Any LIV Golf event that includes Jon Rahm automatically makes him a favorite to win it. Rahmbo has completely broken the LIV Golf format by dominating every tournament he is a part of. Having played 17 events in the league, the Spaniard is yet to finish outside the top 10. He annihilated the competition to top the standings in 2024. And this year as well, despite not winning a single event yet, Rahm stands in second place, only a few points behind his adversary Joaquin Niemann. The two finished above everyone last year, and it seems they will repeat the feat in 2025 as well. The only question is, will Jon Rahm be able to beat him and 54 other players in Miami? Well, if history tells us anything, we believe he definitely can.

Sergio Garcia

Much like everyone above, Sergio Garcia has been in great form in 2025. After a T6 at Riyadh, the Spanish swinger captured the LIV Golf Hong Kong 2025 title in a dominant fashion. He was a top contender from the first round itself and ended the event with a 3-stroke lead against the entire field. Interestingly, Garcia nearly won LIV Golf Miami 2024 as he tied Burmester at -11 till the final hole. Post-round playoffs saw the South African come out on top by a single stroke. Moreover, the veteran golfer also has a major goal in his mind, and that is the Ryder Cup 2025 qualification. He is motivated to be a part of Team Europe this year as well and is looking to impress Luke Donald for a Captain’s Pick. With so many things at stake, Sergio Garcia will be going in hard in Miami, making him a favorite to win the event.

Tyrrell Hatton

Tyrrell Hatton started 2025 with a win in the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. Since then, the Englishman has been slowly settling into LIV Golf this season. He started things off with a T6 in LIV Golf Riyadh but has since fallen down the ranks. But with the Masters Tournament coming up, Hatton would be eager to get his game up. And his best shot will definitely be LIV Golf Miami 2025. Eager to qualify for the Ryder Cup 2025 squad just like Garcia, Hatton will want to win at Augusta National, and if not, finish high on the leaderboard at least. So it won’t come as a surprise if the English golfer also wins at Trump National Doral.
