LIV Golf Pros are having a ball in Miami! The 2025 edition of the Florida event has come back to the Trump National Doral for the second year in a row. Last year, LIV Golf Miami saw Dean Burmester beat Sergio Garcia in the playoffs to win the tournament. This year, two strokes separate both individuals as they chase Patrick Reed after the end of the first round. Garcia has a few more goals on his checklist apart from winning LIV Golf Miami 2025. He is also fighting to impress Luke Donald for the 2025 Ryder Cup.
But apart from their personal goals, every player at the Trump National Doral will also have another thing on their mind. It’s not just about lifting the LIV Golf Miami 2025 title, but also bagging the maximum from the prize money. So what are they playing for in the first American LIV Golf tournament of the season? Top players and best teams at the Trump National Doral
We have already mentioned how Patrick Reed, Bryson DeChambeau, and Dustin Johnson are leading the table. However, HyFlyers GC captain, Phil Mickelson, is also in contention as he too is tied at T2 along with the 4Aces GC and Crushers GC leaders. Sebastian Muñoz, Sergio Garcia, and Charl Schwartzel are also just one stroke behind them and chasing a win at the Trump National Doral. The likes of Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka are further down the table, going 1-over after their first-round efforts. Interestingly, six of the top seven on the leaderboard will all be heading to Augusta National for the Masters Tournament 2025 next week.

As far as team competition goes, there are a few surprises on the leaderboard. Despite having two of their players in the top two individual standings, 4Aces GC is not leading the points table. DeChambeau’s Crushers GC has performed far better as a unit and leads the board by two strokes. 4Aces GC is placed second at par while Sergio Garcia’s Fireballs GC is at third with 5-over par.
