The LIV Golf Jeddah tournament is the penultimate event on the LIV Golf calendar. Of the 14 events played in the series, this is arguably the most important. The reason is that it is the final individual championship event that LIV hosts. The tournament this year will take place at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club, King Abdullah Economic City.
Just like all the other LIV events, the individual championship will be a no-cut event held in a stroke-play format. The defending champion from last year, Brooks Koepka, will also be spotted in action amongst the 48 players that will compete for the handsome prize money that is up for grabs this weekend!

Out of the 48 players, the one who ever goes on to win this week’s event will be taking home a prize of $4,000,000 from a total purse of $20,000,000. The LIV Golf events all have a fixed sum of $25 million up for grabs. Out of this, $20 million is for individual events and an additional $5 million for team events.
LIV Golf Jeddah also offers the players a chance to retain their spot in the next season. Players aim to finish within the top 24 in the individual standings to secure full playing privileges for the 2024 LIV Golf season. The defectors, however, will not be given any OWRG points due to the series still not being eligible.
The prize pool of $25 million is distributed in such a manner that the current week’s team events get $5 million, while the winning team will get a share of $3,000,000, the team finishing second will get $1,500,000, and the third team will get $500,000.
Another attractive element of the event is the fact that the Team Championship in Miami is on the horizon, and teams are vying for top positions. The top four teams in this event earn a bye to the quarterfinals, while teams in the fifth to eighth positions can select their opponents. The 4Aces GC are currently leading, but Crushers GC and Torque GC are in contention too and may emerge on top post this event!
