Undoubtedly, the LIV Golf Star, Bryson DeChambeau, is a renowned name in the golf world. Not only has he been able to perform well in the paramount tournaments, but his outcomes in the league games have also delivered quality. However, despite these performances, the 29-year-old has failed to register a win to his name this year.

The question drew out an honest answer from the golfer, which was veiled in confidence and earnest efforts. With that, let us take a look at what the LIV athlete had to say about his preparations!

In just a few hours, the LIV Golf Greenbrier will receive its first winner. And while the leaderboard is being headed by Matthew Wolff currently, the 2020 US Open victor, Talor Gooch, and Richard Bland are just a shot behind the leader. This provides Bryson DeChambeau with a great opportunity to clinch his first victory of the season.

Especially given how well he has adjusted to the Old White greens, the triumph should be manageable for the professional. Musing along similar lines, DeChambeau was asked if he has reached the point where winning is essentially the only place he can get to. The athlete had his direct response ready in the form of “I hope it’s inevitable“.

Strengthening his statement, the LIV star voiced that this is exactly what his goal is—to win. Hence, for this objective, he has been practicing every day and trying to do the right things. This was his way of creating a “better environment for success.” Divulging further, the 29-year-old stated that he has been out on the greens, chipping, improving his putts, hitting the driving range, and preparing for the golf course.

He also credited his caddie for his evolving performance on the greens. DeChambeau believed this was the right process to make sure that he was accomplishing numbers and putting well. Per the golfer, the results will eventually speak for themselves, and no more can be done regarding the same. The question highlighted the near-miss DeChambeau faced earlier this year in Spain.

Alas, his relentless efforts did not result in a title beside his name. It was Talor Gooch who grabbed his third LIV Championship title. DeChambeau had been in the lead at the start of the third and final round with one shot and went on to expand it further with a two-shot margin. Yet, with Gooch scoring birdies on both the 10th and the 13th holes, a close finish had been highly anticipated.

Finally, on the final hole, Gooch was able to claim his victory. The rather close finish brought massive disappointment to the 2020 US Open Winner. And he would be keen on not repeating the same on the American field now.
