From October 13 to 15, the event will take place at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia. Royal Greens is a par 70 golf course that is 7,048 yards long. Numerous professional, including the Jeddah LIV last year, events have been held here since it was officially opened in 2017.
This golf course has been nominated for numerous honors this year, including Best Golf Course in the World, Best Golf Course in the Middle East, and Best Golf Course in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the 16th hole is close to the Red Sea.
The golf course also comes with a Red Sea Lounge area. The lounge is surrounded by glass balconies that provide a clear view of the Red Sea and the 16th and 17th tee boxes.
“It’s a really good golf course. The way the wind blows here, you have to hit a lot of different shots. It asks all the questions. You have to put it in the fairway to hit key shots. But to me it’s a big iron-play golf course,” Golfer Graeme McDowell has waxed lyrical about the course.
