As Lefty made a large amount of money on the greens, Tim, as his caddie, also had his share of financial gains. Tim has carried the bag of his brother Phil Mickelson for the last eight years; since 2017, they have had many achievements together. With Tim by his side, the 53-year-old won three times on the PGA Tour, including the 2018 WGC-Mexico Championship, where the winner’s cut was $1,700,000 and according to the caddie-player average percentage, Tim made 10 percent of the earnings of his brother’s win.

Followed by his next victory on Californian greens at the 2019 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where Lefty’s Triumph added $1.368 million to his bank account, his caddie again could have made 5–10% or even more of the golfer’s payout. However, the exact amount of Tim’s payout for this championship is not publicly available.

Lastly, after the iconic win at the 2021 PGA Championship, where Phil Mickelson took home $2.16 million, Junior Mickelson went on to bag $216,000. In addition to this, Tim also earned money from his career as a coach and agent before becoming a caddie. He started working as a head men’s golf coach at the University of San Diego in July 2003; he followed the same profile at Arizona State University; and he became a player-manager at Lagardère Sports in August 2016.

Certainly, he entered the ‘rich guy list’ after 2017 as a PGA Tour Caddie. Although Tim Mickelson’s journey as a caddie has now ended, he is leaving with a trunk full of memories of caddying his brother and, of course, a full pocket! After all these years of guidance and support from his brother, now it looks like Phil Mickelson has found a new looper.
