The list of non-LIV Golf lovers appears to be endless. Time and again, the LIV Golf has been subjected to a lot of opposition in many golfing spheres. The creation of the league had extremely polarised opinions and saw the golfing world get divided into two major categories.
The first category belonged to the ones who embraced the new league such as Phil Mickelson, and Bryson DeChambeau and the other belonged to the ones who refused to accept the LIV Golf with open arms such as Rory McIlroy, Trevor Immelman, and many more.

It is an understatement to say that Brandel Chamblee is not an advocate of LIV Golf. The retired American golfer happens to have a very strong stand about LIV Golf and definitely finds himself a spot in the latter of the two kinds.
The 61-year-old frequently repudiated the Saudi-financed league. Once again, the golfer-turned-commentator took shots at the league in a lengthy post on social media. Chamblee began by appreciating his fellow Texans, who did not turn their backs on their league for the lucrative offer that the up-and-coming league was putting in front of them.
As a Texan, I’m well aware of my bias, but bias withstanding, not enough can be said about the Texans who turned down the crazy millions to join LIV.

Mentioning the PGA tour stars Scottie Scheffler and Jordan Spieth, he thanked the two golfers for helping to keep the PGA Tour legacy alive. Apart from the well-established stars, another name that shone across the tweet was one of the rising names of golf Will Zalatoris. According to Chamblee, despite being offered a large sum of money by LIV Golf, the young talent chose to stay with the PGA tour.
Legacy over money for Chamblee
The PGA tour winner went on to applaud the Coody brothers as well for understanding and choosing the path of preservation of legacy over money. According to Chamblee, “Golf is facing an existential threat” and also believes the problems that the emergence of LIV Golf poses have far more grave repercussions that are not restricted to the golfing world,

The Missouri-born has not only condemned LIV Golf but has also lambasted the ones who chose to side with the new league. One of the most famous figures who lost their place in the good books of Chamblee was none other than Phil Mickelson.
Chamblee has spoken about how greed and money led Mickelson to jump ships and said, “And he was not motivated by altruistic thoughts. He was moved and motivated by greed…”
