The 2024 season did not start well for the 4Aces GC. Starting at the Mexican Green, the Dustin Johnson-led team secured the 12th position. Pulling up their socks in the LIV Las Vegas, they came together as a team and bagged the runner-up position. However, they have dropped down again, in Jeddah and Hong Kong, landing themselves at the lower end of the top 1o.

However, the team has not given up hope and is still trying to keep their audience cheered up with their content online. Their recent video was indeed a hilarious one, with the 4Aces skipper dropping his sense of humor.

The 4Aces reveal the male equivalent of receiving flowers

The 4Aces team recently took to their official X (formerly known as Twitter) account and shared a video where three out of the four members—Patrick Reed, Pat Perez, and the captain, Dustin Johnson—were asked about their opinion on the male equivalent of receiving flowers. Well, their honest revelations were what made the video so fascinating.

The first was Patrick Reed, to answer the question. He said, “It’s either a free round with the buddies or a box of Pro Vs”. Demanding a box of Pro V1s, he explained why they are the best equivalent “Because just like flowers, they’re expensive, and they don’t last forever.” Then it was the captain’s turn to answer. He made a joke and said, “The first thing that pops into my head, probably shouldn’t say.”

And then he added that he would also be down for a good breakfast in bed. Finally, when Pat Perez was asked the question, he stated that he would go for good pairs of Jordans, a good dinner, and, of course, would prefer being gifted a dozen golf balls than being gifted a dozen roses!

Their unguarded responses left the golf community in a fervent discussion. Be it DJ’s hilarious comment before mentioning breakfast in bed, or Patrick Reed’s wish to be gifted with the premium golf balls, all of it seemed pretty much relatable to the fans.

The 4Ace golfers receive mixed comments from fans

In the comments section in the post was indeed a diverse group of golf fans replying. While some of them added to the list of what suited best as the male equivalent of flowers, some raised concerns about the degrading content of the LIV Golfers.

One of them shared their desire for a weekend getaway and stated, “Honey, I’m going to mom’s for the weekend.“

Another, breaking into a tone of humor, wittily enough, commented, “If you say your wife let you play golf, that’s a problem.”

However, what struck the audience the most was Dustin Joshnson’s first preference. While one of them gave another adjective for it, saying it is not appropriate to mention on the Internet, another called him something close to a legend:
