Days After Her Swimsuit Joy, Brooks Koepka’s Wife Jena Sims Finds an ‘Impossible’ Roadblock Towards a Healthy Self

Jena Sims has had a mixed bag of positive and negative news updates over the past few weeks. On her husband Brooks Koepka’s front, he didn’t win the individual championship in LIV, and his team ended up on the third-tier list. Besides the underwhelming team performance, Sims’ brother-in-law, Chase Koepka, got relegated as well.

However, on her career front, she has had a breakthrough. She recently received the honor of being a Swimsuit Rookie of the Year 2023, for Sports Illustrated. To withhold the momentum and to remain in good form, she has been trying to work out consistently of late. But she is facing some roadblocks on her way. 

Jena Sims and her struggles with cardio

Jena Sims has a three-month-old baby crew to take care of. No, not a baby crew, but her newborn baby named Crew. The new mom also has to take care of their six-year-old doggie, Cove. The mamma decided that she would go on a walk with the two babies and get some cardio on the menu. 

In a recent Instagram story, she shared glimpses of their outdoor trip. However, she is not too happy with Cove though. She shared a picture of Cove sniffing at roadside grass. She wrote this in the story: “Impossible to get any cardio walking her because she has to stop 2037262859 times.” Yes, we got the number right. 

In the next story, she shared a picture of little Crew inside the stroller. Crew was relaxed and calm, comfortably lying inside the cozy space. Jena Sims wrote, “somebody doesn’t mind” in this story.

Putting an end to their little walk, Cove apparently dragged them back home for food. Sims shared the picture of a hungry Cove looking back at her and the camera yearningly. She dubbed little Cove and wrote “Exercise? I thought you said extra fries?”

Cove has been a cute little baby in the Koepka-Sims family. Notably, she is about to celebrate her sixth birthday in about ten days. 

Doggie Cove’s birthday month coming up

Jena Sims shared a birthday celebration post of Cove’s third birthday 3 years back. Perhaps we should say 21st in dog years, as Sims wrote in her post from November 9, 2020. 

Her caption on Cove’s third birthday post read as follows. “Time flies when you’re having fun. Happy “21st” in dog years sweet Cove!”

Sims had also shared a story during her pregnancy about how Cove gave her a lot of attention. She mentioned the theory about dolphins loving pregnant women and showing an urge to kiss their bellies. 

She asked playfully if Cove was a dolphin too, then. Well, if you believe in rebirths, perhaps Cove was a dolphin in her previous birth. Who knows!
