In a recent Instagram post by the Stinger GC in collaboration with @charlschwartzel, members of the LIV Golf League are seen prepping for the upcoming event in Jeddah. In the video, Captain Louis Oosthuizen is seen with his team, Dean Burmester, Branden Grace, and Charl Schwartzel. A few days after the Jeddah event, the season finale Team Championship in Miami will take place and Oosthuizen appears to look ahead, beyond the upcoming event.
The caption of the post reads: “The season ending Team Championship in Miami is almost here! Make sure you get your tickets whilst you still can – https://livgolfleague.tv/3F7vbDu 🏌️♂️🇿🇦#LIVGolf #StingerGC.”
In the video, pompous music plays in the background as the players show their gameplay. The South African pro is seen talking about the team. The golfer says, “The Stingers team grin and grind.” Further, he adds, “It’s all down to business. Hopefully, this year, we can get it done. Win the Team Championship.”

Louis Oosthuizen thinks the OWGR system is not transparent
Louis Oosthuizen, in an interview recently, firmly criticized the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) system, calling it “ridiculous” because of its bias for the PGA Tour.
OWGR has been questioned by LIV Golf players like Dustin Johnson and Bryson DeChambeau, who, because of the lack of opportunities to earn points outside LIV events, have fallen off the top 100 rankings. LIV Golf is currently in the midst of pursuing OWGR accreditation, and Oosthuizen’s criticism should speed up the process.
