The ex-golf pro cannot be placed in a box with one label, because he is all of it. He is a devoted husband, a loving father, and a mentor to his children. However, before becoming any of these, ‘the shark’ was a proud Australian. The LIV Golf CEO loves his Aussie heritage and once even paid respect to it by donning a stunning outfit as an iconic movie character for a party in Florida.

The Australian golfer is proud of where he comes from. His nickname, ‘The Shark’ also stems from his birthplace and his childhood. The golf great would not trade his background for anything.

Greg Norman: The Shark who hunted crocodiles

Back in 2017, the two-time major winner was attending a company Christmas party at his golf club in Florida. According to the Daily Mail, the Australian golf legend had dressed up like the character Michael “Crocodile” Dundee from Paul Hogan’s famous movie. ‘The Shark’ dressed up as a Crocodile hunter! That surely received many laughs at the party.

The party paid homage to Norman’s home county. Australian flags hung from its walls, alongside aboriginal artworks. The 20-time PGA Tour winner himself showcased his pride for Australia with his spot-on representation of the iconic Australian movie character, and ‘the Shark’ was extremely dedicated to his act.

From the signature khaki vest to the shark-tooth necklace and the black Akubra hat, he had worn it all. But that wasn’t the end of it. His attention to detail that day in December was extraordinary. ‘The Shark’ had covered himself in a fake tan to match the fictional Australian character. Furthermore, he roamed around the whole night with a knife sticking out of the front of his pants.

The former PGA Tour star wasn’t the only one committed to the act. His wife, Kirsten Kutner, had also helped him out that night. She dressed up as Sue Charlton, the love interest of Mick Dundee in the movie.

She had worn a stunning olive-green sleeveless dress, replicating one of Charlton’s many outfits in the movie. Alongside each other, the two looked like they had just walked off the set of their favorite movie. The power couple was certainly at their peak that night.
