LIV Golf is soon to return to Chicago for its third last event of the season, and the league’s fans are waiting for it. The golfers playing in the Saudi league appear to have an uncanny, and witty relationship with each other that seems to appear like a very family-like relationship. Especially between the two LIV stars, Bryson DeChambeau, and Phil Mickelson.

Mickelson and DeChambeau are two of the most respected and loved golfers amongst the fans, and with two of them on the course, there is never a dull moment. Crushers GC, Mr. 58’s LIV team has posted a video of the two golfers from back when he won at Greenbrier, and it is indeed worth watching.

Phil Mickelson’s and Bryson DeChambeau’s uncanny relationship 

In Greenbrier, the 2020 US Open champion wrote his name in the sports history, and LIV Golf’s history as well. DeChambeau shot a 58 in his last round and won his maiden league title. What followed immediately after the win was a celebration that was truly one of a kind. 

All excited about the winning moment, the 30-year-old golfer jumped in the air with both hands up, resembling Mickelson’s epic victorious jump. The resemblance between the two jumps was truly uncanny, and even ‘Lefty’ himself made note of the staggering resemblance.

The recent video posted on Crushers GC’s Instagram page is a collage of DeChambeau’s winning moment from two different angles. One of the perspectives is DeChambeau talking about his thoughts on the jump, and the second one is Mickelson hugging the LIV star after his victorious jump. The video posted a very interesting question for the fans, asking, “Who did it better?”

In a witty response to the question about his jump, ‘The Scientist’ said, “I didn’t know how he was going to react. It was just kind of a natural. I think I jumped a little higher than him though.” 6X Masters winner praised Mr.58 for his win in stunning fashion but also cheekily found it “uncool” of the winner to copy his jump.

It is truly never a dull moment when any of these two golfers are on the course, and in the coming days, fans might get to see more of them together on the course. 

The duo competed against each other in an epic YouTube match

During the Greenbrier event, Crushers GC and Hyflyers GC from LIV Golf made a pretty exciting announcement that the two golfers would be competing in an epic 9-hole match against each other. The match would be live-streamed on YouTube for the fans to enjoy. The match between the golfers’ took place almost a month ago, and both of them teamed up with their fellow squadmates for the match. 

DeChambeau partnered up with Anirban Lahiri for the match, and ‘Lefty’ partnered up with Cameron Tringale for the match. Mickelson defeated the 30-year-old in stunning fashion and took a jab at him afterward as well on Twitter. The golf veteran thrashed the 2020 US Open champ wittily and called his decision of choosing different opponents for the Chicago match smart.
