It is finally happening! Anthony Kim will make a comeback to the professional golfing world soon. He is not only going to break his 12 years of hiatus with it but also the beliefs of thousands of traditional golf fans around the world.

Famous golf analyst Daniel Rapaport tweeted on his X feed that all the rumors around the golfer are soon going to become true. Anthony Kim, the one whom everyone once believed to be the next Tiger Woods, is going to join LIV Golf. Notably, the fans don’t have to wait longer to see their favorite golfer back inside the ropes.

According to the tweet, the word among the LIV pros is that the golfer is set to make a comeback at the LIV Golf Jeddah, which is scheduled to be held from March 1–3. The news comes just hours before the breakaway league starts its inaugural event of the 2024 season.

Dan Rapaport hasn’t mentioned who among the LIV Golfers has given him insider info about the 38-year-old’s grand return. However, the rumor that has been taking over the golf world for the last couple of weeks doesn’t seem to be a rumor anymore.

Does the golf world want Anthony Kim back in the game?

The rumors around the three-time PGA Tour winner’s return to the greens first started when Matt Fisher, better known as Mr.Short Game, uploaded a video in which he stated how, according to his sources, Kim had decided to approach the rebel league. In the wake of his supposed return, the idea of the 38-year-old’s comeback in the golfing realm was not only widely appreciated and accepted by the fans but also by golfers alike, one of whom was none other than Abraham Ancer of Sergio Garcia‘s Fireballs GC, who recently expressed how he looks forward to the 3x PGA Tour champion’s return to golf.

Interestingly, not only the LIV Golfers, but even the PGA Tour wanted Kim to play more. According to bunkered.co.uk, an insider informed that the golfer would still be eligible to play on the American Tour under the past champions-eligibility criteria. The source also revealed that AK would still be considered a “hot commodity for sponsor exemptions,” and the Tour would be happy to “welcome him back” if he wanted to. Amidst all the rumors and excitement, the American golfer hasn’t revealed his final verdict yet. What are your thoughts on the three-time PGA Tour winner’s return to the sport as he supposedly prepares to tee it off at the Jeddah greens?
