Brooks Koepka hasn’t had an ideal year since his extraordinary PGA Championship victory. In fact, the golfer has found it difficult to capitalize on his game in the US Open and the Open Championship. His LIV events haven’t delivered his usual dominance either.
Yet, the biggest setback that greeted the LIV professional this season was his exit from the automatic US Ryder Cup selections. Meanwhile, as Koepka’s Ryder Cup fate hangs by a loose thread, new mom Jena Sims has her share of complaints for the golfer. Although on a lighter note, the 5-time major winner received his third warning from his wife.

Brooks Koepka and his wife Jena Sims share an unmatchable bond. But even the most perfect couples get on each other’s nerves. The recent Instagram story of the actress is an example of this. With a picture of a pink food box on a counter, Sims revealed the LIV star’s beige flag.
She in a lighthearted tone mentioned “not putting the lid on boxed food items properly” to be an annoying thing she tolerates about the golfer. However, this was not the first time this habit of the professional bothered his wife. She captioned the story, “2nd time this week!!”
It was the previous Monday that Koepka had committed the grave mistake of leaving Sims’ Krispy Kreme box half open. And she was certainly not having it. Rather funnily, the model even added the probability of this being the third time. In her words, she was “getting flashbacks of a Papa John’s box as well”. Mrs. Koepka seemed hardly impressed by this habit of her husband.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, with the Ryder Cup weeks away, Koepka’s hope to make it into the team seems to be hanging on the last thread.
Brooks Koepka’s Ryder Cup dream on the cliff of Evanesce
No doubt that the 2023 PGA Championship victor has been enjoying the new phase of his personal life with his son, Crew. However, his professional realm cannot probably vouch for the same; especially considering the Ryder Cup dream and its probability.

Just last week after the PGA Tour Pros wrapped up the BMW Championship, the list of first six players in the US Ryder Cup Team came out. Alas! It did not include the Smash GC Captian, Brooks Koepka. Given that Koepka had initially secured a position at the fifth spot but was now sitting out, it was especially disheartening.
Having dropped out of the top six, he is heavily dependent on Zach Johnson, the captain of the US Team. Johnson will select the other six players at his exclusive authority. Amidst all the happenings surrounding the golf icon, what do you think of Jena Sims’ latest story? Do you think Brooks Koepka will make it to the 2023 Ryder Cup Team? Let us know in the comments!
