The Spaniard did it at the Ryder Cup. He did it in Mayakoba and even at the Masters. Well, guess what! He has done it again, but this time around, it’s in Nashville. Jon Rahm has been especially known for turning the air blue on the course and he couldn’t hold himself back in the ongoing event as well. Perhaps expected, since he was also looking at a bogey on the final hole after carding one on the 17th.
A video was shared by NUCLR GOLF on their X handle, showcasing the same. It showed Rahm hitting his fourth shot of the hole as the ball flew over the water hazard into the greens of the par-5, 18th hole. But what surprised the community was the not-so-elegant “F**k you” that followed as a response to his gameplay.

The professional is currently tied at T20 with 11 other athletes after the first day of play at The Grove. He scored a 70 (-1) by carding a total of four birdies and three bogeys, the last of which came at the par-5 7th, the par-4 17th, and the 581-yard 18th hole, which brought down his score from a 2-under to a 1-under.

Maybe it was his frustration at himself for not being able to dominate on the course after his comeback to the game following the foot injury. Or perhaps it was the pent-up exasperation of the failure to set it up for a par shot on his fourth shot at the hole. Regardless of the case, the fans weren’t as keen on Jon Rahm’s outburst as they took to react to the tweet.
Netizens don’t seem too pleased at Jon Rahm’s F-bomb
The golfer had jumped to the Saudi-backed league back in December for a whopping $566 million, as per reports by Telegram. But when asked about it, the Spanish professional mentioned how his defection to the same came with the reasoning of being a part of something that helps the game grow its legacy. The fans, however, don’t seem to agree with Rahm’s view even after half a year following his jumping ships as one commented, “Made bank but it was at the cost of his legend unfortunately,” while another responded, “Real class act, he deserves it all!”

Back at the 2024 Masters, the LIV Golf Pro could only finish a dismal T45 owing to his sub-par performance. He carded a total of 10 birdies alongside 13 bogeys and 3 double bogeys to register figures of 73-76-72-76 over the four days of play at 9-over par overall. He failed to make a mark even at the 2024 PGA Championship, where the Spaniard went ahead to miss the cut after dishing out a 70-72 involving 9 birdies and 7 bogeys. A user on X hinted at the same as they responded, “So sweet watching these hypocrites fall from Grace. Will never win a major again,” while another reacted, “LIV transition not going well for Jon Rahm. Wasn’t even a bad shot,” as they alluded to the shot as well.
Jon Rahm had also dropped similar bombs and turned the air blue many times throughout his career. He has been compared to his teammate Tyrrell Hatton a lot of times, all thanks to the duo being similar on the greens when it comes to their temperament. A follower, meanwhile, went ahead to point out the same as they commented, “All these comments seem like no one used to watch him on PGAT he’s always been a hot head just like Hatton.” Maybe he should start swearing in his mother tongue, just like Hatton said, “I don’t understand why Jon doesn’t swear in Spanish. Why does he swear in English? I don’t get it. He would probably get away with it if he just swore in Spanish.” One can’t help but wonder the same!
