The 2023 Adelaide event was a huge success for the Saudi-funded league. It sold over 40,000 tickets and brought 43,253 visitors from 37 countries to Australian soil. Smashing all the accommodation booking records, the event was broadcast across 69 territories globally. But it is only possible with LIV Golf’s backing for the event to reach such a great level of height.

Such great footfall from 37 countries would have also led to a great hike in accommodations selling out and people visiting various tourist destinations. It would have injected a lot of money into Australia’s economy and may be used for return trips to the country in the future.

The introduction of the league’s innovative format received a huge welcome while setting ground-breaking records on and off the course. The LIV Golf event sold 116,978 12-ounce beers and a total of 23,390 units of merchandise. It helped the league, venue, and fans to have a good economic exchange and a stellar experience too.
