South Australia jumped on the international golf map with LIV Golf Adelaide’s kick. This event made a huge economic impact and generated a massive amount of $64.9 million straight to the economy last year. No wonder LIV Golf Adelaide was awarded the Best Golf Event in the World in 2023 at the World Golf Awards. The exciting golf carnival is coming back this year with an action-packed weekend from the 26th to the 28th of April at the Grange Golf Club for $20 million.

LIV Golf Adelaide is not just fun and games; this glorious golf event came out as a hole-in-one for SA’s economy in several ways. Certainly, by gaining much popularity the previous year, Adelaide became a necessary location for LIV Golf. However, Adelaide needs LIV Golf just as much.

The 2023 Adelaide event was a huge success for the Saudi-funded league. It sold over 40,000 tickets and brought 43,253 visitors from 37 countries to Australian soil. Smashing all the accommodation booking records, the event was broadcast across 69 territories globally. But it is only possible with LIV Golf’s backing for the event to reach such a great level of height.

Such great footfall from 37 countries would have also led to a great hike in accommodations selling out and people visiting various tourist destinations. It would have injected a lot of money into Australia’s economy and may be used for return trips to the country in the future.

The introduction of the league’s innovative format received a huge welcome while setting ground-breaking records on and off the course. The LIV Golf event sold 116,978 12-ounce beers and a total of 23,390 units of merchandise. It helped the league, venue, and fans to have a good economic exchange and a stellar experience too. Additionally, the live concert by Australian DJ Fisher has also contributed to this revenue generation with its solid sell-out.

This event was also a huge success because the PGA Tour does not give many visits to Australian golf courses, and LIV Golf took advantage of it and got the ball in its bag! It allowed the Australians to watch some of the best golfers in the world in action, and that was too loud. The great hospitality offered last year attracted more visitors to be a part of this big golf party this year. It is believed that nearly 77,000 tickets for the event have been sold.

This spot has great skyline views, live music by The Presets, and renowned DJs. The comfortable lounge spaces and prime seats make it the best place to catch the footy action.
