At the Mizuho Americas Open, Linn Grant is looking forward to clinching her long-awaited second LPGA Tour win. The 25-year-old has been a rising star in the women’s circuit, with five victories on the European side and one in America. But it still has been nearly a year since the last time Grant won the 2023 Dana Open.

After carding three birdies and zero bogeys at the Liberty National GC, Grant has been tied for sixth with 3 under 69 as the Monday round concluded in Jersey City. What gears has the 25-year-old Swede taken to the New Jersey Greens to help her secure the top 10 finish?

Linn Grant has been a PING staff golfer for the past three or four years. Thus, from drivers to the putter, Grant’s bag has only the PING’s exclusive clubs. To start those runs for victory, Grant uses the PING G430 LST Driver with 9° loft. The 25-year-old pairs it with a Fujikura Speeder TR 757 S shaft.

The driver has spinsistency technology, which allows it to travel farther distances and has lowered spin to the ball. The driver cost $579.99. Grant had only one fairway wood on her bag, that is the PING G425 MAX Fairway 3 Wood with 14.5° loft but she has adjusted it to 15.6° for her assistance.

The tungsten stone weight in the fairway wood helps in increasing the MOI, ultimately providing better forgiveness. With the innovative spin and face wrap technology, this club offers less spin with accuracy to reach the greens better. The 3 Wood sells for $249.98 on PGA Tour SuperStore.

Grant also has two hybrids in her bag, which are the

G400 3 and 4 Hybrids with 19.6° and 22.5° loft. She equips the hybrids with the Tour AD-HY 65 S shaft. The G400 is no longer available for new purchases, but they have been in her bag since her historic victory at the DP World Tour’s 2022 Volvo Car Scandinavian.

Lastly, the putter responsible for four victories on the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour is the PING Prototype Putter, PLD Prime Tyne. The putter has a stealth finish with 2° loft and a 20° lie.

With these golf equipments Linn Grant has emerged victorious on various occasions; will it work once again at the Liberty National Golf Course?
