Golf can definitely leave its mark! Especially on your appearance. After hours spent under the sun, tanning is practically inevitable, and let’s be real, no one exactly loves those harsh tan lines. Nelly Korda, found herself worrying about just that while at the Founders Cup in Bradenton. More than her winning possibilities, Korda was concerned about her tan lines.

In an Instagram story, she shared a picture of her hands, showing off a noticeable tan line around her wrist. Guess even the pros can’t escape the sun’s effect! She wrote,Now this tan line is just DOPE”. But as it turns out, she is not the only one with the same complaint. Lexi Thompson has added herself to the list, being concerned and at the same time enjoying this plight.

The 30-year-old announced her retirement from the full season of the LPGA Tour. She will only be playing a partial schedule this year. Thompson is eligible for the first two Majors of the year and additionally, will also be playing a few other events too. In the 2025 season, so far, she has only appeared in the Founders Cup last week, which was scheduled three weeks ahead of the HSBC Women’s World Championship, her first Major.

Given that the Founders Cup was hosted in Florida, there is no escaping the sunny days and the beaches. Both of them are major reasons behind tanning. A few hours ago, the American Professional took to her Instagram account and shared a picture of herself in a bikini. It was basically her showing off the tan she got from playing in Florida. In the caption, she wrote, These tan lines are going to need some work 😂🙈”.  Thompson, who is known for her fitness, and her hard work in the gym, looked incredibly fit in her recent picture too.

Tans lines are surely arent inevitable. Even Gaby Lopez posted hers, a while ago, flexing, and wrote, “Golfer’s tan lines are just the best 🤓 #proamParty“. Not just the LPGA Tour pros, but the PGA Tour pros also face the issue.

Stewart Cink and his head tan

When Stewart Cink wrapped up his third round 2018 PGA Championship, he took off his cap to shake hands with Tiger Woods, a polite gesture that instantly revealed something a little less polished. Cink’s head was sporting some seriously noticeable tan lines, perfectly matching the shape of his trucker cap! While it’s not uncommon for golfers to get tan lines from their hats or shirts, Cink’s look definitely takes it to another level. His cap’s imprint is practically branded onto his scalp!

And he’s not the only one. While Stewart Cink hides his tan lines, Si Woo Kim wears them proudly. He has them all over his biceps. He posted a picture on Instagram in the pool a while ago, and captioned it, “I wear T-shirts.” Even Patrick Reed has a tan line on his head, and that’s all from the games of golf.
