However, just when the family believed the battle with cancer was over, they got yet another heartbreaking news —the cancer had metastasized into uterine cancer.

Since then, Thompson has made a powerful decision to wear pink every Saturday and blue the following day, to honor hеr mothеr’s arduous battlе with brеast and uterine cancеr. She also wore it at the Grant Thornton Invitational and her teammate Rickie Fowler also supported the cause. Thompson’s thoughtful gesture does come as a support and comfort for many around the world who are valiantly battling the disease, reassuring that they are not alone.
