Leona Maguire has become a household name for European golf fans over the past weekend. After almost single-handedly pulling Europe up from the brink, she has also won her single match against the rising US youngster, Rose Zhang, on Sunday this week!

Leona Maguire’s phenomenal form at this Solheim Cup continues even on Sunday. After losing the foursome session on Friday by one hole, she made seven birdies that helped Team Europe win the fourball session 3-1 and also tie the match at 8-8. On Sunday’s clash, she was pitted against Rose Zhang and emerged victorious over the USA rookie. Let’s take a look at her weaponry that’s aiding her stunning display.
As per Golf Monthly, the Irish star uses a Ping G430 LST driver (10.5°) with a Ping Tour shaft priced at $849.99. Whereas, for fairway woods, she brands a Ping G430 Max fairway woods worth $349.
For the irons, she uses Ping i210 irons (5-UW) with KBS Tour TGI 80 shafts. This forgiving long iron, also used by PGA Tour star Viktor Hovland, is priced at $1312. However, depending on the event, the two-time LPGA tour winner shifts between i210 irons and Ping G425 hybrids, worth $219.
For Wedges, Leona takes a slight deviation from her trusted brand, Ping. She puts her faith in Titleist Vokey SM7 wedges, with two versions (55° and 60°) seen in her bag. Priced at $175, Titleist Vockey has also been the staple for many LPGA pros for wedges.

For her putters, she once again becomes a Ping loyalist, using a Ping 2.0 Ketsch putter. It was also with this very club that she birdied seven holes on Saturday this week to help Europe get back in the game. These are also the same clubs that have aided her fantastic form and assisted her in dominating, the USA sensation Rose Zhang 4 & 3.

This was the second Solheim Cup for the Irish international. After breaking the all-time rookie point record at the 2021 Solheim Cup, she continued her stunning form in this edition as well. After winning her final matchup, she has done her part for her team. “Suzann made it very clear a couple of months ago that I would be playing five, and I think with the energy of this crowd and everything, I could have played 10,” the Irish international said after winning her round on Sunday.
