The sports world witnessed a unique kind of celebration at LIV Golf last year. Talor Gooch was met with an NBA-styled gesture from Greg Norman, who went as far as going down on his knees. Don’t take it the wrong way. The golfer was just presented with a ring following his feat as the Individual Champion. Well, it seems there was a similar gift for the Team Championship winners as well.
The 2023 LIV Golf season saw Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC take home the win at the final event in Miami. However, along with the trophy and the prize money, it appears they were also awarded with a glittering jewel, earning the awe of many in the community!

A post was shared on the official X handle of the Saudi-backed league showcasing the gifts presented to the Team Championship winners in Miami. The tweet consists of two pictures, one with the skipper’s ring and the other with the four bands of all the teammates presented together.
The jewels are engraved with the 30-year-old’s team’s logo along with the name of each member and the wording “TEAM CHAMPIONS 2023” on the side. However, Gooch was presented with a ring that had the LIV Golf logo on its face.
The rings were, once again, made in collaboration with the famous Ben Baller and his company, IF+CO. Moreover, the awarding of the special ornament had come off as a surprise back in 2023, and it seems to have stupefied the community this time around as well.

Even the PIF-funded circuit wouldn’t have imagined the number of reactions that followed the tweet. The post went ahead to rake in a frenzy of comments and likes following the unveiling of the LIV Golf bands.
LIV Golf Team Championship rings send the internet into a furor
The comments ranged from those expressing their awe for the jewelry to flat-out commending the alternate circuit for introducing these kinds of rings. It enjoyed a completely different kind of response as opposed to when the Individual Champion received a similar token.
Although Gooch’s ring did not garner such a good response, they went ahead to engage in the same kind of gift a second time. Following the same, Ben Baller himself took to the Saudi-backed league’s post to express his appreciation for collaborating with him once again.
Appreciate you guys ❤️

Another enthusiast emerged as an ardent fan of the alternate tour. However, this time around, it seems they would go to an extreme length to get their hands on the same, or something that looks just like it as talks of making a replica made the rounds.

A nod of approval from another person in the community. Although it has been close to two years since the LIV Golf League came into existence, a fan mentioned that this is the first amazing thing that they have done.
Ok, honestly this is the first legitimately cool thing the league has done.
