The Chevron Championship threw up numerous surprises throughout the weekend. But the biggest news was about the crew of superstars who made an early exit after missing the cut. The list also included English golfer, Charley Hull, who was profoundly affected by her poor display and expressed it on social media. It looks like the 27-year-old has started working on her game immediately, with her latest post garnering rave reviews.
Charley Hull resumes quest for excellence
Despite a trail of good results ahead of the event, Hull failed to bring her best performance in the season’s opening major championship. She started off with a disastrous seven-over 79 to dig her chances to the grave, before making a positive comeback with a second-round score of 71.

Yet, it wasn’t enough for Hull, who was part of the array of players making out of the event. Distraught by her loss, the English golfer conveyed a remorseful message through her social media post, where she revealed that she wasn’t comfortable with her swing.
While fans expected Hull to take some time off before hitting the course again, the Kettering-born is already back in action. The 27-year-old posted a new reel that showed her hitting a tee shot, which put her swing into clear view.
