Home/Golf

Charley Hull definitely has her game plan sorted: kill it on the golf course, then hit the gym to back it up. After a fantastic year, she’s pumped for the next season, ready to get in shape and take home as many trophies as she can. And the off-season? Well, that’s the perfect time for her to focus on her physique, and she’s making the most of it.

Recently, she gave her followers a sneak peek into her fitness routine with her “12 Days of Christmas” workout. Inspired by the holiday song, this workout is a tough one — a mix of cardio, strength, and endurance, with increasing repetitions. Such a tough regime is indeed designed to push even the most experienced athletes to their limits. And, of course, Nuclr Golf didn’t waste any time reposting it, spreading some serious inspiration with the golf community. The reposted caption read: “Could you finish Charley Hull’s Xmas workout?”

So what’s in this workout? It starts off with ski calories, then moves on to double dumbbell thrusters, cleans, and step-overs, with burpee box jumps, a 6300-meter run, and more. With a mix of weightlifting, bodyweight exercises, and cardio, this gets harder the further you go. It’s definitely not easy, but that’s exactly why Hull’s into it.

For her, it’s not just about breaking a sweat — it’s about building strength, flexibility, and stamina, all of which are key for golf. Strong legs and a solid core help her stay stable and powerful in her swing, and all the cardio helps her keep her energy high and focus sharply through those long rounds. This workout is helping her stay at the top of her game, ready for whatever the next season throws her way.

And fans? Well, they were completely blown away by how intense it looked.

Have an interesting take?

As an athlete, health and fitness are obviously top priorities for Charley Hull, and she’s definitely not taking any shortcuts. Her strict workout routine really shows how committed she is to staying in top shape. That said, while most fans get how dedicated she is, plenty are still shocked by just how tough her workouts are. One fan perfectly summed it up: “Love Charley, she’s a fkn beast.” Another chimed in saying, “Couldn’t start it!Clearly, Hull’s no-nonsense approach to fitness is both super inspiring and, yeah, a little intimidating for some people.

This isn’t Hull’s first time showing just how hardcore she is. She’s always been known for her intense fitness routine, which recently included a chilling ice bath with her co-player Inci Mehmet for ice therapy.

While Mehmet appeared to struggle with the icy water, Hull was chilling (literally) and looked totally unbothered — a clear display of her resilience. It’s this same resilience that has won the hearts of her fans, who continue to root for her, no matter what, with one fan writing, “Let’s gooooooo!” showing just how much Hull’s dedication is inspiring her followers.

But it’s not just her physical strength that’s catching attention. Fans are also commenting on how different her workout is from what they’re used to seeing. Some aren’t even sure what half of the exercises mean. “I don’t even know what half of these things mean,” one fan joked about the strange exercises. Meanwhile, others took a more playful jab at her habits. “She left out the 5 Marlboros!” one fan cracked, poking fun at Hull’s past appearances with a nicotine stick in hand.

Of course, there are always some critics too. One fan pointed out, “I love Charley and she’s one of my fave players. BUT we see a lot of gym stuff from her and a million golf swings, and she’s like 127th in SG around the green & 121st in SG putting. I can’t recall a single video of her practicing either.”

While Hull’s fitness is obviously a big deal for her, this comment does raise an interesting point about finding the right balance between working out and working on her game. Indeed, her killer workouts might not always translate directly to better putting or short-game skills, where finesse really matters. So, what do you think of her routine? Does it get you pumped, or are you wondering if she’s focusing too much on the gym? Let us know in the comments!
