As per Flushin It, teenage Woods finished in the 17th position on the leaderboard. “Charlie Woods came T17 in his age group at this event, 13 shots behind Lucky Cruz who won Augusta National’s Drive, Chip and Putt in 2022.” However, the next line infuriated the netizens. Further, the account, which is run by a former pro golfer, wrote, “Lucky is a very impressive young player!”

But fans were to pick up on the comparison. They felt this could’ve been done away with, as Charlie Woods is still a young golfer who has a lot of miles to walk before becoming a subject of intense scrutiny and comparison.

A majority of the fans felt Woods Jr. could do with a little less media attention. How must it feel for the teenager to have all the spotlight on him at such a young age?
