Moreover, the latest PGA Tour winner revealed his two biggest goals in life during an interview. “The first is to become the no.1 golfer in the world, and the second is to become the no.1 sexiest golfer in the world,” said Lee. The South Korean golfer does carry himself incredibly well, and he has his goals clear in his mind.

Currently, K.H. Lee is 41st in the OWGR. He jumped around 40 places after this victory as he was 88th going into this event. Notably, with good performance in the upcoming major, the 2022 PGA Championship, he can even break into the top 30 or top 20. Therefore, he is on a perfect track to achieve at least the first goal of his career.

The defending champion K.H.Lee was four strokes behind the lead going into the final round. Moreover, there were prominent golfers like Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, and others ahead of him in contention. However, the two-time PGA Tour winner kept calm and carded nine-under on the final day and finished -26 for the event.

He took the clubhouse lead while the overnight leader Sebastian Munoz managed to card just -3 for the day and remained at -24. Additionally, Spieth needed an eagle to force a playoff, and there was a possibility of the same as it was a 513 yards par-5 hole. But sadly, Jordan finished the hole with a birdie and remained a stroke behind K.H. Lee.
Notably, it was a bogey-free round for Lee, with seven birdies and an eagle. However, this was not the lowest score on the day as the 2021 Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama carded -10 for the day and finished T3 for the event out of nowhere.

Meanwhile, both these Asian golfers have great momentum going into the PGA Championship at Southern Hills. Hence, they will be hopeful for a great performance in the majors, which will be a tremendous achievement for Asian golf as well.
