The La Sella Open is going to take place for the first time in 2023 and it is taking place ahead of the major, the Evian Championship. The event will take place at the La Sella Golf Course, Spain, and will be a four-day strong game from the 20th to the 23rd of July. This is one of the 12 LET events of 2023 and will feature a hefty prize purse. It will also be a huge opportunity for the best of golfers to shine in the Mediterranean’s most prestigious event.
Ahead of time, on the 18th of July, the opening celebration began with the opening dinner, followed by the next day, where three amateurs and one professional player participated. This will be the introduction of the four days of the official battle, where more than a hundred proficient golfers are scheduled to contest.

The La Sella Golf course was specially selected by the LET, for its endurance of the facilities, incomparable record of technical caliber, and excellent scenario. Designed by José María Olazábal, the course has 27 holes and is surrounded by magnificent natural sceneries.
And recently, they have taken up the initiative for the renovation of the course in order to maintain its hierarchy and have a sustainable, durable, and technologically compatible course for the competition to behold. And these changes in the course have only grown its reputation in Spanish and European golf. The course has three 9-hole courses and the routes include pine trees, flat terrain with water, and challenging final stretches mapped out carefully to decide the rounds, as well as holes in elevated areas offering beautiful views of the sea, the Segaria mountain, and the Montgó Natural Park.

Nuria Iturrioz: This Spanish golfer plays for the LET and LPGA Tour. Nuria has been successful since her amateur days. Besides this, he has an outstanding record of three LET wins, at the 2016 and 2019 Lalla Meryem Cup, and 2019 Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic.
Linda Wessberg: This Swedish professional golfer has a different level of expertise with her club. Linda has played in the LPGA and LET, where she had in total three victories. She represented in the 2007 Solheim Cup as well.
Carmen Alonso: She is a professional golfer and LET athlete. Alonso has a very recent victory in LET. She won her maiden title in the 2023 LET.

Caroline Hedwall: Hedwall plays for both LET and LPGA Tour. In the year 2013, she became the first player to win five matches in the Solheim Cup event. Moreover, as an amateur, she won European Ladies Amateur Championship, and also individual titles like Espirito Santo Trophy and NCAA Championship.
Ursula Wikstrom: Ursula is a Finnish professional golfer who has a dedicated approach to golf. She not only represented Finland in the Rio Olympics 2016 but also won the 2017 Ladies Finnish Golf.
