Is Atthaya Thitikul poised to grab the trophy at TPC River’s Bend? The 2024 Kroger Queen City Championship will conclude in a few hours. On Saturday, the 21-year-old professional maintained her lead. She finished the penultimate round with a birdie on the par-5 18th at TPC River’s Bend for a 54-hole total of 16-under 200 in hot, dry conditions. Her score for the day was a 4-under 68.

She is enjoying a two-stroke lead ahead of Hall of Famer Lydia Ko. Yan Liu holds the solo third position after 54 holes and is currently at 13 under, three strokes behind Thitikul. If the Thai star continues her momentum, she will likely win the title this year.

How much money will Atthaya Thitikul take home if she wins?

The Kroger Queen City Championship has a comparatively smaller purse. This year, it is $2 million, with the winner taking the largest share. If Atthaya Thitikul lifts the trophy, she will take home $300,000. The runner-up and second runner-up are set to win $188,651 and $136,853, respectively.

WWGR Points and exemptions awaiting for Atthaya Thitikul

If Atthaya Thitikul wins, she will not only take home a portion of the prize money but also receive significant points, perks, and benefits. The winner will earn a total of 500 points in the Race to the CME Globe, as well as Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking (WWGR) points. The remainder of the field will earn Race to the CME Globe points based on their finish.

Additionally, the top 60 players on the leaderboard by the end of the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship in November will qualify for the event. Most importantly, the tournament winner will receive a five-year exemption on the LPGA Tour, making it crucial to finish well. The fight on Sunday is going to be a roller coaster ride, as the 65 players try to make it to the Tour Championship in November.
