Only 18 holes remain until the crowing of the 2024 KPMG Women’s PGA Championships winner at the Sahalee Country Club in Sammamish, Washington. After 54 holes, some known and some fresh faces have taken over the leaderboard. The 2023 CME Group Tour Championship winner, Amy Yang, has entered the final round with a two-stroke lead after carding 7 under 209 in the first three rounds.

Following her are the two fairly new faces, Lauren Hartlage and Japanese pro, Miyu Yamashita. The duo are in for a tie at second with a score of 5 under 207. The top three are paired for the last round and scheduled to start at the latest 10:27 a.m. EST on the 1st tee.

Down at T5, following her victory last week at Meijer LPGA Classic, the world no. 2, Lilia Vu will be starting her final round at 10:16 a.m. on the 1st tee with Caroline Inglis and Sarah Schmelzel, who has taken the solo fourth spot on the leaderboard. The tee timings and pairing for the rest of the field are listed below.

The 73 players’ field will soon start the final 18-hole stretch and contest for an enthralling finish at Sahalee Country Club. Although there are many top-class players at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, many notable and prominent names missed the weekend rounds after failing to make the cut.

Who are the top players missing the KPMG Women’s PGA Championships weekend?

From raking in six victories in just six months to missing three consecutive cuts in a row, Nelly Korda has seen the worst and best in the 2024 season. After taking in T4 as round one concluded, the second round was drastically unfavorable for Korda. The 14-time LPGA Tour winner shot her career’s worst round of 81 and missed the cut by one stroke.

This was the first time in Korda’s career that she missed three back-to-back cuts. Facing the media after missing the cut, Korda emotionally said, “It’s just golf recently for me. No words for how I’m playing right now. … A lot went my way at the beginning part of the year and just giving it back.”

Other LPGA stars who were unfortunate, such as Korda, were her best buddies, Meghan Kang, Alison Lee, Carlota Ciganda, and many more. Out of all, Korda’s elimination was the most shocking. Nonetheless, the final round would move forward without these stars and a champion would soon be found at Sahalee CC.
