‘Kind of Disintegrating’: Tiger Woods Once Candidly Spoke About a Bizarre Fan Incident

But as they say, sometimes being too good can cost you your peace. A similar event happened with Woods when a fan decided to toss a hot dog toward the former champion.

After the controversy of his divorce went viral, Woods received tons of criticism from fans, including the occasional heckle or having a whole plane go by with a triggering message pointed at him.

Woods described the incident from his perspective. He said, “When I looked up, the hot dog was already in the air,…” “The bun was kind of disintegrating.” Woods missed the cut at the PGA Championship and has not played on the field ever since. There were several questions about whether he would be able to get back to his best form. However, it looked like his game improved a lot when he played at CordeValle.
