It appears the Miami Hurricanes have landed a talent! Yes, we’re talking about 17-year-old Kai Trump, who has showcased her immaculate skills on the greens many times. Now, it seems Donald Trump’s daughter is all set to move on from the Benjamin School, the very institution where Tiger Woods’ son Charlie Woods, also attends.
The young golfer shared a post on her Instagram, announcing her move to a new university. “I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Miami,” wrote Kai Trump, “I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey.”
Her gratitude didn’t stop there, as she went on to thank many people who have supported her. From her grandfather, Donald Trump, who is running for President of the United States, to her team, her “Mormor,” her entire family, friends, Coach Janice, and Coach Jim, the teenage prodigy expressed her appreciation to all of them.

She also made special mention of her grandfather, Donald Trump, in her post. “I would like to thank my Grandpa,” added the athlete, “for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support.” That’s not all—her relationship with her grandfather seems truly special, as she shared with the crowd in Milwaukee during the recent Republican National Convention: “He calls me during the middle of the school day to ask how my golf game is going and tells me all about his, but then I have to remind him that I’m in school and I’ll have to call him back later.”

The Benjamin School will surely miss a talented golfer with a +0.5 handicap. They’ll be saying goodbye to an athlete who has racked up a lot of achievements, including the 2022 Women’s Club Championship and the 2024 Ladies Club Championship. Indeed, this is the same person whom many, including Bryson DeChambeau, have praised.
