Thomas‘ random Instagram post came as a pleasant mid-week surprise for fans, who got to see Spieth work at a Titleist shoot while falling victim to ridiculous filters. “Don’t have anything to share BUTTTT I did find this video I had fun with of @jordanspieth during a @titleist shoot a few years back,” Thomas wrote, asking everyone watching to have a great Wednesday.

The filters Thomas uses on Spieth range from cute ones with hearts to an animated cat wearing a taco dancing on screen. Some even changed the shape of Spieth’s face, while some changed his voice. Thomas himself is heard laughing as he records, thoroughly enjoying every filter added on Spieth.

Thomas and Spieth’s rivalry and friendship blend together
Having known each other for decades, both golfers have a relationship where friendship and rivalry co-exist. They first faced each other during the Junior All-Star event at Walnut Creek Country Club’s Pecan Course in Texas. Spieth took a lead back then, winning by five. “I think we’ve kind of pushed each other at every level,” said Thomas, adding that they are always competing. “It’s just now we’re at the top level you can get.”

While Spieth led the early years of their rivalry, Thomas seems to have taken a leap forward. Thomas has 14 PGA Tour wins, including his 2017 PGA Championship win. Spieth, on the other hand, has won 12 PGA Tour events, including three majors.
