The PGA Tour 2022 Golf season will kick off at the beautiful plantation course in Kapalua. The game’s best battle play for the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Moreover, the winner of the tournament will take home $1.45 million.

Players arrived at the course for the practice rounds. One of the past winners, Justin Thomas, provided a course update.

Justin arrived at the golf course for his practice round ahead of the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions. He won the tournament in 2020 with an overall score of 14 under par in a three-man playoff with Xander Schauffele and Patrick Reed. Justin is a former world number one. Recently, he played a major role in the 2021 Ryder Cup win for team USA.

In a recent tweet, Justin said, “Always love starting off my year on the Plantation Course at Kapalua for Sentry TOC. The Troon team here has the course looking perfect as usual and the staff here (like at all Troon locales) go above and beyond. Looking forward to a great week at Kapalua!”

In 2020, the course was relayed with the bunkers, greens changed and the professional tees were pushed back. Now. the course will be more challenging as the greens are firm and less receptive.

The 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions starts from January 6th till January 9th. Players will look to get their 2022 season off to a fast start and get in the early form which will help them throughout the whole season. The playing field includes some notable names like Phil Mickelson, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, and many more.
