Justin Thomas Makes Honest Admission After Wild Night of Partying To Celebrate Presidents Cup Victory

After four days of top-quality golf, the 2022 Presidents Cup has finally concluded. The event saw the dominant force of Team USA take down their opponent International Team. The American Team conquered the tournament with the help of a great performance from Justin Thomas. After a recording-breaking event, it was quite apparent that the golfer would party hard. JT doubled down on this perception by accepting the wild night filled with celebrations on his Twitter handle.

Team USA defeated the International Team with a huge margin of 17.5 – 12.5. The Americans secured their ninth straight Presidents Cup win after the triumph at Quail Hollow Golf Club.

Many golfers displayed some great golf, including Justin Thomas and Max Homa. However, to compensate for their hard work on the course, the duo also seemed to have partied hard off the course. Both stars share their thoughts after a night full of celebration.

Following an undefeated record of 4-0-0, Max Homa matched the record for four or more consecutive wins by rookies at the Presidents Cup. He celebrated his great performance with a wild night of celebration. However, the festivity may have gone a little further as the 31-year-old shared his unpleasant health status the next day on Twitter.

Homa tweeted, “Update: I am unwell”. Following his tweet, Thomas responded with a tweet that stated, “Retweet”, meaning he too isn’t feeling well. Max Homa then replied by posting a handshake emoji to the two-time Major winner. In the end, JT responded by sharing the viral Spiderman meme.

Both golfers did contribute a lot to the win at Charlotte. Similar to Homa, Justin Thomas also shattered several records. Despite losing his final game against Si Woo Kim, JT had a great tournament.

Thomas matched the record of his fellow teammate Jordan Speith for a perfect record in a specific format, with no losses and no defeats. The two-time Major winner holds the perfect record in the four-ball format with a record of 5-0-0.

Moreover, he ended the event with points per match average of 0.73, the best in U.S. history for a player with five or more starts who has competed in both the Presidents Cup as well as Ryder Cup. The American players individually and also as a team did exhibit a record-breaking quality of golf. After such a performance, JT and Homa do deserve a wild night of celebration.
