With multiple names leaving the PGA Tour for LIV Golf, the atmosphere around golf can be described as tense. Rumors about players leaving have been around, most interested in a different format and an extensive paycheck. Following Brooks Koepka’s PGA Tour exit, players like Collin Morikawa have been linked to the Saudi-backed series.

However, judging by his recent statement, Morikawa seems happy with the PGA Tour. The 25-year-old blatantly denied the rumors, pledging loyalty to the PGA Tour. In fact, Morikawa claimed to be aware of his name being taken, eager to prove everyone wrong. However, Justin Thomas, on his end, seemed worried about something else entirely.

Is Justin Thomas worried about Collin Morikawa’s cereal?

Morikawa mentioned his PIP money in the first sentence, claiming that the media loves to create drama. The young player made sure to say everyone was ‘absolutely’ wrong.

As far as the two-time major winner is concerned, nothing will change.

Thomas, also staying with the PGA Tour, seemed more concerned about his cereal habits. As per the older icon, Morikawa pouring milk first is the real problem over LIV Golf. Max Homa too, seemed to doubt Morikawa. Homa added that while he is happy about this, he wonders if someone who chooses milk first can be trusted.

Does Morikawa agree?

Morikawa, on his part, seemed confused. He questioned the science behind this, asking if it is indeed better to pour cereal first. He went as far as to tag UC Berkeley, asking someone to actually study this. Interestingly, Morikawa has been called out for his habit before.

Just like Thomas and Homa, fans seemed worried about Morikawa’s habit. They double-checked the video, asking if he truly ended up doing it wrong. Morikawa seemed unconcerned then, just enjoying his meal.

Morikawa’s rumors were a result of a few announcements, including Brooks Koepka leaving the PGA Tour. With LIV Golf only having started, many players have been linked to the league.
