How did Justin Thomas commemorate his World No. 1 spot?

While discussing 10 things he cannot live without with GQ, Thomas dedicated a few minutes to talk about his watches – which he feels fortunate enough to have collected. With the price point being in the thousands, not everyone can afford the watches that Thomas wears.

He started by showing off the one he wore while he won The Players Championship and then focused on the one he was wearing. The Rolex Root Beer watch Thomas was wearing was a gift to himself when he reached the World No. 1 spot. “I told myself that I was gonna get myself a gold watch. And I got this watch, and I got the date engraved on the back”.

Thomas even joked a little, adding that when he did get the watch, he was no longer the World No. 1.

Thomas’ Rose Gold Root Beer Rolex is an iconic watch in many ways. A revamped version of an older design, this watch is made of 18k Everose gold. With a more muted finish, the $66,995 watch also stands out with its brown and black dial. Furthermore, the watch is powered by caliber 3285, which was completely manufactured by Rolex.

Other Rolex’s Thomas owns

As mentioned by Thomas himself, he does own a sizeable watch collection. A Pepsi” GMT-Master II, a Yacht-Master 40, and a Daytona 116509 are a few watches the PGA Tour star has been seen wearing. The Daytona featured a blue dial and red accents, making the 2016 model one of the most iconic watches Thomas wore.
