Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s infamous TGL have started preparation in full swing for its inaugural season. The 24-player roster is now setting into their new teams and starting new camaraderie with different players. A never-before-seen league will start in January.

Six teams in the high-tech league have started announcing the 4 golfers that will play for them. The Atlanta Drive GC added its newest addition to the team, and the golfer is famed to be McIlroy’s foe and has had a controversial year.

Justin Thomas was announced as the first player to enter the Atlanta Drive GC and the team completed its roster a few hours back. Patrick Cantlay, Billy Horschel, and Lucas Glover are the three players joining Thomas and Atlanta Drive.

Cantlay was in the news after his Ryder Cup hatgate controversy; playing without a hat and people assumed it was a protest. Regardless, the 8x PGA Tour is thrilled as he said, “I could not be more excited to join Atlanta Drive GC and represent Atlanta in TGL.” Although the hatgate also conspired an altercation between Cantlay and McIlroy, it seems to have subsided.

Moreover, the CEO of PGA Tour Superstore, Dick Sullivan, showed his gratitude for completing his team, “This is a special day for Atlanta Drive GC and AMB Sports and Entertainment. With these elite players joining Justin Thomas as the members of our team, we have put together a player roster that illustrates what we want Atlanta Drive GC to be – competitive, consistent, and always in contention to win.”

There are a total of six teams with having 4 golfers each. However, each team will have only three players in a head-to-head match against a team.
