In a recent episode of her podcast, ‘Playing A Round,’ the golf diva was asked about how she deals with fake accounts on social media. And it was shocking to find out that she actually has to report several accounts every single day! 

“Oh, this is just ridiculous,” she said. “I’ve been dealing with this for a really long time…there was another person who was scammed by a fake account…they’ll send fake driver’s licenses, fake checks, anything that you can think of they’re doing it, and of course, it is badly photoshopped.”

It is not that hard for people to differentiate between Spiranac’s original account and the fake one. However, she highlighted a few points to keep in mind for her fans to avoid any trouble. “I report at least 20 fake accounts every single day, every day, and they keep popping up.”

She added, “If it is not coming from my verified account. It’s not me. And if it’s someone who has bad sentence structure, bad grammar can’t seem to really put a sentence together, not me.” The golf beauty mentioned how scammers sometimes use badly structured sentences full of grammatical mistakes. “Do you think I’m, like, typing at kindergarten level? So offensive?”, she said.
