Golf is a very fashionable sport. We often see professionals wearing polos with crisp trousers. However, Justin Thomas had a different idea at the Valspar Championship. The one-time major championship winner wore rather unorthodox pants in the third round of the event.

Golf fans react to Justin Thomas’ fashion choice
The sport of golf has undergone various changes over time. One of these changes is related to clothing. Moreover, professionals nowadays do not stand back from wearing crisp or striking colors. But also have found new ways to dress up. This was proved by Justin’s fashion choice in the third round of the Valspar Championship.
Justin was seen wearing an all-black outfit in his round on Saturday. However, it was his golf pants that caught everyone’s eyes. He was swearing tight ankle golf pants, which we often see Erik Van Royen wearing on the course.

Golf fans or Justin’s fans all over the globe did not really appreciated his fashion sense. Twitter exploded with reactions relating to Thomas’ tight ankled pants. Some of the reactions were really funny and even said that only Van Royen can pull off these pants. However, some of them even backed him for his bold fashion sense.

If I had a huge clothing deal like #JustinThomas I still would not wear these yoga pants on the golf course.

Only a few on tour can pull these off. I respect it.

Honestly it’d be cool to see the pros be able to play in shorts. Will probably never happen though.

I’m still old school. Collared shirt and pants for pro’s, collared shirt and some shorts/pants for the rest of us. Hoodies and joggers are too casual to see pros in tournament play

Anything else would be frowned upon at my local Municipal. pic.twitter.com/FIQ7EYwMty

Maybe JT is taking his inspiration from the Tour veteran, Ian Poulter, who is famous for wearing checkered pants with vibrant colors. However, this is not the only time he is wearing bold clothing. Back at the 2022 Genesis Invitational, he was wearing vibrant win or purple-colored pants.
