Zoeller had bet that Daly wouldn’t live to see his 50th birthday

Back in 2016 after Daly celebrated his 50th birthday, he said that he made a bet with Fuzzy and that he owed him $150,000 the minute he turned 50. It was an outcome of a wager made years ago during a long night out at the Masters.

The now 56-year-old said, “Fuzzy’s going to owe me 150 grand. I don’t know if he remembers that bet or not, but I’ll get that cash from him hopefully.’’ The duo finally met a week later and shared Zoeller’s own vodka.

Zoeller wasted no time taking JD up on his offer, handing him a bottle of vodka before the pair teed off with Peter Jacobson in Daly’s PGA Tour Champions debut in 2016. It was great publicity for Zoeller’s vodka brand especially when he had John Daly promoting it.
