JT Poston is a Titleist guy. His entire bag, from driver to golf ball, has the Fairhaven-HQ brand’s logo. While it’s known that Poston is a Titleist ambassador, the financial details of their deal are not known. Generally, equipment brands sign players for a three to five-year deal that involves at least 12 clubs in their bag. But Poston’s all 14 clubs are from Titleist.
Let’s talk about the driver first. JT Poston carries a GT3 Driver with a 9° loft. It’s listed at $649 on the brand’s website. But Poston is not the heaviest hitter on Tour. He averaged around 293 yards of carry last year, fairly below the Tour average. Poston ranked outside the top 100 in both Strokes Gained: Off the Tee and Total Driving. A Mitsubishi Diamana BF 60 TX fits the longest club in his bag.

Next, Poston carries a TS 2 Fairway metal in his bag with a 15.0° loft and Graphite Design AD IZ-7 X shaft. He also carries a TS2 hybrid—unchanged since 2022—which has a loft of 19°. The hybrid is fitted with a Graphite Design AD DI-95 Hybrid X shaft.
Next to his bag, you will find a U500 utility iron (4-5). A True Temper Project X 6.5 shaft fits the utility iron. “I had never seen greens as firm as Tour greens. I realized I needed to hit my long irons higher to hold them, so we put in the utility irons with weaker lofts,” the three-time PGA Tour winner explained to Golf Digest in 2020.

Poston carries T100 (5-9i) as well. It’s valued at $200 on Titleist’s website. Notably, Poston ranks 5th in the Tour for approaches from 50-75 yards. Using the same clubs, Poston was inside the top 20 in the field at SG: Approach and GIR% at the 2024 Shriners Children’s Open, where he bagged his third PGA Tour win. T100 is fitted with a True Temper Project X 6.5 shaft.
Wedges and putters used by JT Poston
Short game is JT Poston’s forte. At the Shriners Children Open, Poston was 6th in SG: Around the Green and 8th in Scrambling. The 31-year-old uses a Vokey Design SM 10 wedge (46°, 50°, 56°) and a Wedgeworks 60° lob wedge. Poston ranked 6th in scrambling from 20-30 yards in the PGA Tour last year and 13th in proximity to the pin from sand. True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue fits his wedges.

Putting is where JT Poston truly excels. He uses a Scotty Cameron Golo 5 putter, which has been in his bag for the last three years. The mallet putter gave him more confidence and comfort. Poston was 8th in SG: Putting at the Shriners last year, gaining 1.38 strokes against the field.
Lastly, JT Poston carries a Titleist bag and uses a ProV1x golf ball, the 2017 version. “I like the soft feel of the 2017 Pro V1x, so I play that instead of the 2019 version. I started marking my ball like this (always in black) when I was young and haven’t changed it,” the three-time PGA Tour winner said in the same Golf Digest interview.
