The 2022 RBC Heritage was the first win of Jordan Spieth in a year. It is also the first-ever time the golfer has won after his wife has given birth to a baby. While he is a proud golfer because of his recent victory, Spieth also takes pride in being the expert in changing diapers. However, the other parents might find his ‘diaper changing strategy’ quite interesting.  

“It’s great. I believe in my ability as a diaper changer,” the golfer said. He was talking in an interview after his recent victory at the RBC Heritage, where he shared his strategy to be a diaper-changing expert. 

“um… I go for speed over quality,” Spieth explained how he changes his baby’s diaper. “We get it on fast.”

Spieth and his wife Annie had welcomed their first child, Sammy Spieth, last November. The golfer himself shared the wonderful news with his fans through a social media post. 

Although Annie has attended many of Jordan’s competitions in the past, the RBC Heritage was only the second time Sammy has attended one. Notably, Sammy made his first-ever on-course appearance at the Augusta National this year. The golfer competed at the Par-3 Contest with his wife and child as his caddies. 

Jordan Spieth won an official tournament after a year!

Jordan Spieth won the 2022 RBC Heritage after battling with Patrick Cantlay in the playoff. Both the golfer had scored a 13-under 271 after the four rounds. 

Spieth had been going on a dry spell since his victory at the 2017 Open Championship. However, the former world no. 1 rose back to his element in 2021 after he won the Valero Texas Open. Although he seemed to be back on the track of winning, the golfer hasn’t had a win all year. 

Although everybody anticipated for Spieth to defend his title at the 2022 Texas Open, the golfer couldn’t do it. Spieth could only secure the 35th position on the leaderboard.

Furthermore, the golfer couldn’t make the cut at the 2022 Masters Tournament. Notably, it was the first time after his debut that the 1-time Masters winner missed the cut at the Augusta National.
