Back in September 2024, Jordan Spieth said: “I think that by 2025, by Jan. 1, it’s my goal to be tournament-ready.” That was right after undergoing surgery on his left wrist to fix ulnar nerve damage. Well, January came and went, and Spieth was nowhere to be seen. Four events into the season and still no sign of him. But for those eagerly waiting, the wait is over! Spieth is officially making his 2025 debut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
It has been a while since he last won (the 2022 RBC Heritage, to be exact). Before that? The 2021 Valero Texas Open. For a thirteen-time PGA Tour winner, that’s a bit of a dry spell. But even without a win, the three-time major champ and five-time Ryder Cup star has managed to stay inside the world’s top 100, currently sitting at No. 77.
Now after a brief hiatus, Spieth is to get back in the mix. And of course, he is here with a bag full of gear that could help him grab that elusive win. So, what exactly is Spieth carrying in his bag for 2025? Let’s take a look!

What gears does Jordan Speith use for his long-form game?
When it comes to clubs, Spieth is a one-brand kind of guy. Ever since his junior golf days, he’s stuck with one brand—Titleist. And in 2025, nothing has changed. Off the tee, Spieth trusts the Titleist TSR2—a driver that’s all about speed and stability. It’s got that perfect balance of power and forgiveness, which is exactly what he needs when he’s shaping shots.
This beauty is priced at $599.99, and his Fujikura Ventus Blue 6 X shaft adds another $350 to the mix. For his fairway wood, Spieth goes with the Titleist TSR3 (15°). This club is all about adjustability, featuring a five-position SureFit Adjustable CG Track System that lets him fine-tune his performance. The TSR3 costs $349.99, and the Mitsubishi Tensei AV Raw Blue 75 TX shaft is priced at $355.

Instead of carrying multiple hybrids, Spieth keeps it simple with just one—a Titleist TSi2 (21°). It’s forgiving, which makes it perfect for those long approach shots when a fairway wood is too much, but an iron isn’t enough. He pairs it with Graphite Design Tour AD Hybrid IZ 95 X shaft, known for its sleek orange design. The hybrid itself runs $259.99.
When it comes to irons, Spieth plays the Titleist T100 (4-9), the most popular players’ iron on the PGA Tour. These clubs are built for control and precision, which explains why guys like Will Zalatoris, Sungjae Im, Cameron Smith, and Jessica Korda helped design them. And with Spieth’s smooth ball-striking, they’re a perfect fit. Each club costs $185, and they’ve been in his hands for a while now.
That covers his long game, but when it comes to his short game—the ones that make or break a round, Spieth’s gears are just as impressive.
What does Jordan Spieth rely on when it comes to his short game?
When it comes to the short game, sticking with what you know best is usually the way to go—because this is where tournaments are won (or lost). And for Spieth, that means staying loyal to Titleist.

He uses Titleist Vokey Design SM9 wedges (46°-10F @47) with a Project X 125 6.5 shaft (52°-08F @51.5°, 56°-10S @55.5°) and a Vokey Design WedgeWorks Proto (60°-T @ 60.5°). Basically, he’s got every loft and bounce combo he needs to handle tricky greenside shots.
He pairs them with Project X 125 6.5 shafts, except for the 60-degree, which gets a slightly lighter Project X 120 6.0 shaft. These pieces of equipment cost around $159 each, The SM9s are known for being versatile, accurate, and packed with forgiveness—just what Spieth needs to keep his short game on point.
As for the putter, he uses a Scotty Cameron by Titleist 009 Prototype, a putter that’s about as custom as it gets. It is precision-milled, insanely well-balanced, and paired with a SuperStroke Zenergy Flatso 1.0 grip for that extra touch of stability. This comes at the staggering price of $6500. But hey, if you’re Jordan Spieth and your putting literally makes or breaks your career, it’s worth every penny.

By now, you can probably guess what ball he plays. Yes, it’s a Titleist Pro V1x golf ball. This ball gives him high flight, plenty of spin on approach shots, and a soft landing, making it the perfect all-around gamer. And he gets all this just for $54 per dozen.
So, with this setup, do you think Spieth can finally break his winless streak and get back in the winner’s circle? Let us know in the comments!
