Jordan Spieth is back. Having undergone surgery last August to help a nagging issue with his wrist, Spieth made his 2025 PGA Tour debut at Pebble Beach. The University of  Texas grad first injured his wrist in 2023 while playing with his son Sammy. Rest and rehabilitation was the method used then but it did not seem to do the trick as he re-aggravated the injury in the fall of the same year.

He then encountered a scary moment when his tendon popped out during the tee shot at the final hole in the British Open. That was when he decided enough was enough. He needed to get surgery. After 5 months of recovery, Spieth is back on the course and delighting fans. While we celebrate his return, let’s take a look back at his brilliant career and how he has fared.

Spieth had joined the tour in 2013, a year after he turned professional. The University of Texas alum has won 13 PGA Tour events so far, which includes two majors. Jordan Spieth has also cut 227 events out of 282 events he has played in. An impressive rate for any golfer.

The 2015 PGA Tour player of the year has been back after an extended period out due to a wrist injury and subsequent surgery.

Spieth’s 2025 has also had a rocky start, with his T69 at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am only giving him $34,500 in prize money. And this is just his payout from competing in the tournaments at the PGA Tour.
