The WM Phoenix Open is always a blast for the players to play in. However, the new season is expected to bring a lot more this year for professional athletes. And currently, it’s the 2023 Super Bowl that’s driving the fans crazy with excitement. But among our beloved golfers, there is one who is leaning towards attending the event, and it is American pro Jordan Spieth.

Will Jordan Spieth go to the 2023 Super Bowl?

Former world number one Jordan Spieth is one of the most talented players in the golf fraternity. The PGA Tour loyalist has been highly against being a part of LIV Golf. Despite all the rumors about him joining the Saudi circuit, Spieth is sticking to the former tour.

After being in the fans’ eyes for the breakaway league’s rumors, Spieth is again in the headlines. However, this time it’s about something else. The golfer is expected to attend the Super Bowl down the road.

The par-3 16th at TPC Scottsdale could be a great setup for all who don’t mind spending some time in the traffic. And Spieth is considering the idea to drive for 31.3 miles to witness the NFL’s best battle of all time. The event is set to happen at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

And for Spieth, his being there partly depends on which teams make it to the Lombardi Trophy. In his interview ahead of the Sony Open, Spieth said, “I would say more than 50% chance of going regardless…And if the [Dallas] Cowboys go, I would call that 100% chance.”

It is not the first time that the Super Bowl is happening in the same week as WM, and that too in the Phoenix area. It is also not the first time for Spieth to make a long drive to attend the game after finishing up on the 18th hole.

Back in 2015, Spieth and his caddie Michael Greller went to watch the Patriots win after their tournament. As far as it goes for handling the hoards of golf and football fans, Spieth is not very much worried about it.

He mentioned buying an RV last fall and said he was going to use it throughout the season. However, Spieth is going to need something much bigger than that to make it to the game in time.
