Jon Rahm is a Spanish golfer and possibly one of the best youngsters to ever play golf. In 2021, he became the first-ever Spaniard to win the US Open. He holds the record for being ranked number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for a record 60 straight weeks. In July 2020, he won the Memorial Tournament with a score of nine under par. This win boosted his rank in the OWGR (Official World Golf Ranking) to 1 for the first time.

The one-time major winner now ranks fifth in the world. He’s been competing for the topmost ranks since early 2017, and he quite often makes it to the top of the ranking chart. Jon is also a very devoted husband and father. He and his wife, Kelley, have two sons, the younger being only a few months old now.

Jon was dressed like Rafiki from the movie ‘The Lion King’, and his kids were dressed as lion cubs. He captioned the photo “Asante sana squash banana!”, which is something Rafiki says in the movie. Jon Rahm also re-enacted the iconic Rafiki and Simba moment with both his sons.

Majority of his fans were excited about how adorable the pictures looked, while 0thers were noticing very different things entirely, and commenting on his house in the background, his slippers, and even trolling his baboon costume.

Regardless of what the fans had to say, it seems like Jon and his kids enjoyed their Halloween.

Just days ago, Rahm was playing in the CJ Cup in South Carolina. He finished 4th, 3 strokes behind Rory McIlroy, who won with a score of 17 under par. Although Jon was unhappy with his loss there, he was fairly satisfied with his performance. “I was able to still execute and play good golf, it’s just not an easy golf course out there. If I can shoot under par uncomfortably, manage a couple mistakes, I’d still have a chance to win,” he said.

Rahm was uncomfortable on the course at the CJ Cup and just wasn’t able to perform.I don’t want to start thinking about my swing mid-round because I can’t hit 10 balls to fix it, right? So I just try to play and hit the shots and execute.” The next tournament Jon Rahm competes in is the DP World Tour (Earth Course, Jumeirah, Dubai), on the 17th of November. This gives him plenty of time to work on his swing.
