Spiranac took to Instagram to provide input on who she thinks can be the favorite to win the US Open. She did say, to predict the winner, one must go with their gut feeling while keeping in mind the stats. However, Spiranac?s opinion is a combination of both.

She talks about how important a good drive is at The Country Club by saying, ?In the Country club you’ve gotta drive it really well.??Spiranac then lists her top 5 players to be the favorite for the US Open. She says, ?So of the stats we’re looking at Jon Rahm, Corey Conners, Matt Fitzpatrick, Viktor Hovland, and Keegan Bradley.?
In the end, she picks John Rahm and Matt Fitzpatrick as her two favorites outright for the US Open. Jon Rahm?s confident press conference assured Spiranac to expect a great performance from him. She also has a good feeling about Max Homa and Billy Horschel?performing well and hopes for a Top 10 finish for Keegan Bradley.
Spiranac predicts Mickelson to not make the cut

After predicting the possible winners, Spiranac then predicts that Phil Mickelson would fail to make the cut. Her prediction may seem ominous, but could still be turned into reality.
Mickelson?s highly anticipated return to professional golf failed to reach its full potential. His performance in the inaugural LIV Golf event was very disappointing. He finished at 34th rank with 10-over-par.

Lefty will play his first Major since The Open in 2021. ?Earlier in 2021, he won his 6th Major by winning the PGA Championship which made him the oldest Major Champion in the history. With his recent form, he may not be the favorite to win, but in the past he has proved to never count him out to win a Major.
