Can the underdogs at the John Deere Classic upset the big names this year?

The John Deere Classic seems to be a field of players hungry for a win! On one hand, there is Aaron Rai, who was close to clinching his first career win at the Rocket Mortgage Classic but was left one stroke behind Cam Davis, tying for the second position. And on the other hand, there is CT Pan, who surged to the top of the leaderboard with an excellent performance in the second round. A significant moment in the Taiwanese golfer’s career, coming long after his lone victory at the RBC Heritage 2019.

Pan carded a 100-foot eagle on the par-4 14th hole and went completely bogey-free, and Rai kept his momentum by carding six birdies, both sharing a score of 8-under-63. With just a few hours left for the penultimate round, here’s how the final tee timings and pairings look.

The penultimate round of the 2024 John Deere Classic surely has the best tee-off saved for the last! The two co-leaders, along with Harry Hall, who is just one stroke behind them, at -14, will be teeing off at 12:45. Nonetheless, the entire round will be an exciting watch with the ever-changing leaderboard.

The tee-off is scheduled to begin at 7:55 am, and the field will be opened by Thorbjorn Olesen and Wilson Furr both currently tied for the fifty-ninth position:
