John Daly is among more famous professionals off-the-course than while playing golf. The two-time major championship winner is renowned for his carefree and lavish lifestyle and is among the prominent names in the sport. Recently, Daly and his son John Patrick Daly II are in the limelight due to their latest deal. Hooters, the famous American restaurant chain, cemented their deal not only with Big John but also signed a NIL with the Little John.

The chain announced on Tuesday that it had joined a more official deal with the Long John and a name, image, and likeness deal with the young golf prodigy, Daly’s son. Furthermore, this deal marks the first NIL deal for Hooters and for the little John. Not to forget, Daly II is a freshman at the University of Arkansas, his pops’ alma mater.

Both father and son will promote the restaurant chain through various marketing activities, which include significant roles on social media and other digital media routes. Long John will now wear Hooters appeal and use an orange golf bag with the chain retro logo while playing on the PGA Tour of Champions.

On the other hand, little John will wear Hooters appeal in selective events. However, he will majorly promote the chain through social media campaigns and make an appearance at specific Hooters locations. It is great to see the duo signed by the same sponsor.

John Daly talks about the Hooters deal

Recently, the 55-year-old professional revealed his and his son’s involvement in the deal with the restaurant chain. He spoke in a short interview before he plays at the Clubcorp Classic. The short clipping was uploaded by the PGA Tour of Champions on their Instagram page.

Daly said, “Where’s the cash, and where’s the 100% Hooters card. And he got it he got the Hooters card. He will wear his uniform playing the tournaments in Arkansas. But like he will post something if he said Hooters or something like that. He loves the food like I do. So just nothing major at all just, you know, we just do a lot of social media for them.”

He added, “‘l’II do some signings and stuff. Hopefully, he can do with me sometimes in the summer doing a couple of them.”

Daly’s words prove the amount of excitement he has after his son got the deal with Hooters. It is truly incredible to see the bond that both the big and little John share.

Who won the 2021 PNC Championship?

Team Daly won the 2021 PNC Championship at Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. Moreover, the duo won the event with an overall score of 27-under-par. As a result, they comfortably won the championship with a two-shot cushion. Furthermore, they shot the first round of 12-under-par, 60, but carded a firey 15-under-par, 57 in the final round to finish on the top of the leaderboard.

Team Woods consisting of Tiger Woods and Charlie Axel Woods, finished as the runner-up to Team Daly. They ended the event with an overall score of 25-under-par and came two strokes short of the leaders. Tiger and Charlie, too, shot a final round of 15-under-par, 57, to finish in the solo second position on the leaderboard.
