John Daly is well-known in the golf community. The 56-year-old has been playing professionally since 1987. He first took part in the PGA Tour back in 1889 and has won 5 events on the tour since. John still plays in the PGA Tour and ranks 2819th.
The legend is known for his driving distance off the tee and was nicknamed “Long John.” He is very well known for his “zero to hero” victory in the 1995 Open Championship Playoff. The two-time major championship winner is not just handy with a golf club. Daly is also extremely talented when it comes to music.

Daly’s current performance
Long John won two majors, but that was back in the 1990s. It has been a while since the golfer has come close to winning a trophy. The last time Daly won a trophy was in May 2017. Daly competed in the Insperity Invitational on the PGA Tour Champions and shot 14 under par to lift the cup.

In a recent Instagram post, Brian Kelley announced that John Daly will be performing in a Boats and Boots concert on the 12th of November. He would be performing from his latest album, “Whiskey & Water.” Whiskey & Water is John Daly’s third album, which he launched in March this year. It has 13 songs, one of which pays tribute to his love for the sport called, “Golfer Man.”

John Daly has had a hand in music for a while now. In 2007, he sang backup vocals in the song “Half Your Age” by Kid Rock. He has undoubtedly played alongside both musical and sporting legends. His first album, “My Life,” which released in 2002, had guest vocals by Willie Nelson.
