John Daly thrown out by Kid Rock—Is this rock 'n' roll or just plain disrespect?

How did you get kicked out of a Kid Rock show?” The question sounds like the start of the next Hangover movie. But that’s exactly what John Daly (allegedly) managed to do. Love him or hate him, John Daly is someone who will always leave a lasting impression. From his altercations with veterans like Curtis Strange to throwing his gambling winnings off a bridge, Long John certainly is a man who marches to the beat of his own drum.

A few months ago, Daly joined Tucker Carlson and Kid Rock on Carlson’s hit podcast, The Tucker Carlson Encounter. In what seemed like a group of buddies hanging out and talking about life on camera, Daly gave various insights into his life. Many stunning revelations were also made by the 3 men, which included Kid Rock alleging that Daly got kicked out of one of his shows. Keep reading to find out about the whole incident!

Kid Rock, who is a close friend of Daly’s, points to him and says, “He’s been thrown out of my shows!” “No, I didn’t get thrown out!” said an exasperated Daly. The host then asks Daly the million-dollar question- how did he get thrown out of a Kid Rock show?

Rock then calls Daly one of his “best friends” with Daly reiterating that he’s never been thrown out of Rock’s shows. “He’s got no shirt on, Jim Beam bottle tilted like this, then I look and say, where’s John?” As per Rock’s story, he was shocked to learn that Daly had been kicked out. “They made me sit on the steps. I didn’t get tossed,” scoffed Daly, with a cold one in his hands. Elaborating on how he reacted to his alleged tossing, Daly remarked, “I didn’t say a word I was like ‘oh s***’, I didn’t want to piss him off“, presumably referring to his strategy to deal with the security personnel who made the detention.

Have an interesting take?

Stoking the fire, Tucker asks Daly, “But you were shirtless at a Kid Rock concert?” “As long as I had my pants on it’s ok“, said John. Rock then says, “He’s got no f**** in his pockets“. And that we can all agree upon when it comes to John Daly.

Other times when John Daly was, well, truly John Daly

From his long drives to his eye-catching attire, it’s hard to miss out on Daly if he’s ever around you. Daly is just as well known for his antics outside the game. His first PGA Tour win came when he was an alternate, making him one of the few golfers to win a tournament despite not having a place in the tournament field.

He also famously threw his putter into Lake Michigan in 1998 after missing a putt. This isn’t the only time he’s let out his frustrations on his clubs. Daly also does what it takes to win, removing his footwear and playing barefoot at a pro-am tournament in 2011. He also repeatedly hit balls into the water on the iconic 18th hole at Pebble Beach, which resulted in him running out of golf balls. This led to his eventual disqualification, but it was done in typical John Daly fashion. And we all know his sustenance on the course in the form of Diet Coke and cigarettes.

In a sport filled with pomp and circumstance, Daly proudly sticks out like a sore thumb and keeps doing what he does. Never change, John Daly. Never Change.
